What is a Premiere Hotel? We are an independent hotel which is proudly family owned and operated. The hotel was acquired in the spring of 2007 by the Saunders Hotel Group and completed an extensive $4 million dollar renovation in 2008. The sparkling changes to decor and guest services has been noticed by our past guests and those first time New Haven visitors. As an independent hotel we are elated to be highly ranked for Business on TripAdvisor and awarded AAA three diamonds. Our lovely hotel offers a residential village setting with each suite having a private entrance so you can park right by your front door.  The gracious Gatehouse is the hub of hotel including the front desk, fitness center, mini market, business center hot buffet breakfast and light dinner.

You will never pay for our hot daily breakfast buffet, light dinner, parking, local area shuttle service, business center, Internet-hard wired and WIFI, fitness center, local calls and of course our friendly daily housekeeping service. Our deluxe daily hot breakfast buffet offers enough choice to satisfy the hungriest of travelers and the evening Manager reception is served in the gracious Gatehouse from 5:30-7:00 pm (Monday-Thursday) and includes a complimentary prepared delicious light dinner.

There are two suite types available. Select from a Studio Suite King or two Double beds or a Two Bedroom Loft Penthouse Suite King and Queen beds-both offer a spacious home away from home- atmosphere. Each suite is at least 50 percent larger than a normal hotel room and has a fully equipped kitchen, with a living room area and a sofa sleeper. Most suites have a fireplace and include a 32" inch flat screen TV, luxurious crisp white bed linens on a comfortable pillow-top bed, granite counter in each bathroom and a workspace area with high speed internet access.

Conveniently located just 1 mile from Yale University and the Amtrak station. The University of New Haven is just 3.5 miles away and Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport is only 4.5 miles away.
